Fun And Activities Laid On For Youngsters In Tendring At Half Term

An extensive programme of fun and activities is being laid on for youngsters in Tendring during the February half term break.

A host of sessions have been organised to take place at Tendring District Council (TDC) sports centres and pools at Brightlingsea, Clacton, Dovercourt, Harwich, Manningtree and Walton between February 12 and 16.

These will include indoor, outdoor and water-based activities – with something for all ages to enjoy.

Mick Skeels, TDC’s Cabinet Member for Leisure and Tourism said he hopes that young people will take advantage of the opportunities on offer.

“It is important that we encourage our young people to live healthier lifestyles and improve their wellbeing while also having a fun time,” he added.

In many cases you only have to turn up at the right facility and register. However, some sessions have a limited capacity so it is best to book in advance.

Full details of the activities, venues, costs and timings will be available from TDC’s centres and on TDC’s website, www.tendringdc.gov.uk
