Get into Retail – Make your Mark programme in partnership with M&S
This free 4 week opportunity is available for young people aged 16-25 who are currently not in training, education or employment. Our free 4 week Get into Retail programme in partnership with Marks and Spencer is available to young people living in or around the Colchester, Clacton and Ipswich areas. This programme involves 4 weeks in-store training provided by M & S where young people can learn about stock control and rotation, sales and promotion of goods, customer service skills and gain first-hand experience of what it means to work in the Retail environment. There are positive employment opportunities for the right young people at the end of the programme. This excellent opportunity is a chance for young people to gain qualifications and work experience which will help them gain the skills they need to progress into further training or employment. This programme will refund any travel expenses to young people on programme and will not affect any benefits they are currently claiming.
Interviews for this programme take place from Monday 18th June at local job centres.
All young people wishing to join the programme must attend a Taster Day on Friday 22 June at the Colchester M&S. This programme runs from Monday 2nd July – Friday 27th July
