Prince’s Trust Get Inspired programme – Clacton

Referrals are now open for a brand new Prince’s Trust programme in Clacton – Get Inspired – starting in June (see below for dates)

Get Inspired supports young people to find their inspiration and develop the confidence and skills to take their next steps.

A combination of individual mentoring support and bite-size fun learning sessions – ideal for young people who may not yet be ready to access a cohort training programme or employment.

Key elements include:

  • Kicks off with a Get Ready workshop to build confidence and identify goals and aspirations
  • Six short weekly activity sessions – a fun and engaging way to learn new skills such as pottery, photography, food preparation – delivered by Adult Community Learning
  • Individual mentoring support throughout the programme and for up to six months – tailored support to the individual young person
  • This is a FREE programme for young people age 18 – 30, not in full time employment/education and living in the Clacton area.

The activity sessions will take place at Adult Community Learning, St Osyth Road, Clacton.  Individual mentoring meetings will take place at public venues in Clacton – eg. Library – to be arranged with the young person

Travel costs will be refunded.  Does not affect benefits.

Informal 1:1 meetings will take place from Tuesday 28th May 2019 

If the programme is right for you, you will be invited to the Get Ready workshop on Thursday 6th June at 1pm.

The activity sessions take place on Monday afternoons 1 – 4pm from Monday 10th June to Monday 22nd July
