Young Mental Health Ambassadors

NOW Healthwatch Essex is asking those aged 25 or below who have accessed mental health services in the county to become a Young Mental Health Ambassador and help shape local services by sharing their views.

The Emotional and Wellbeing and Mental Health service (EWMHs) in Essex is going through some changes and Healthwatch wants children’s and young people’s experiences to be at the heart of changing and improving the service for other children and young people living in Essex.

Young Mental Health Ambassadors roles will include:

  • Creating videos and online blogs to share personal experiences
  • Complete online tasks to feed into new plans
  • Meeting other Ambassadors with similar experience and build your networks
